Our primary asset is our people and we are always looking to add individuals who are passionate about business brokerage to our network. We are very fortunate to have the most professional High Street and Middle Market business intermediaries in the world. While we have many highly experienced and accomplished individuals in our organization, the following brief bios will provide you with a sense of our network's experience.

Greg Kells
CEO and Master Franchise of Sunbelt Canada

Greg Kells, Certified Business Intermediary, Life Member Institute of Business Appraisers, Certified Machinery and Equipment Appraiser, Certified Senior Business Analyst, Licensed Business/Real Estate Broker, is President of Sunbelt Business Brokers Inc. (Canada). His focus on Sunbelt's development has made Sunbelt the premiere Canadian Business Brokerage, dominating its local markets through superior services, delivered by professional brokers, using effective marketing programs and supported by appropriate technology, training, large national and international networks, and proven methodology.

Mr. Kells is an international entrepreneur with extensive business development, marketing, and management experience. He started the Canadian operations of Sunbelt Business Brokers in 2002 and, in addition to opening 27 offices in Canada, he is developing business brokerage in 10 other countries. Mr. Kells has served as president/chairman of companies in various industries including the hi-tech industry, manufacturing, business consulting, training, tourism, real estate development, business appraisal, television production and laboratories.

Greg is very much a hands-on CEO and his skills and experience are a significant asset to clients. He has been a guest lecturer at Harvard, Yale, and Duke Universities as well as at numerous Canadian Colleges. He enjoys mentoring and is involved in teaching at Sunbelt and for the International Business Brokers Association.

He is the supportive husband to contemporary artist Gayle Kells and is the proud father of three children. Greg is involved in his community on various levels including being the Chair of the Canadian Institute of Nature and the founding Chair of the Canadian Institute for Conflict Resolution. He has been a candidate for leadership of Ontario and is active in numerous community organizations.

Len Krick
Office Owner, Sunbelt of Las Vegas

Len Krick, the owner of the Las Vegas office, is a ten-year Las Vegas resident, holds a BA in Economics from Muhlenberg College, and two degrees from UNLV, including an MBA. Len is a Certified Business Intermediary (CBI), a Merger & Acquisition Master Intermediary (M&AMI), and holds a Nevada Real Estate Broker License. Mr. Krick has over twenty years of business and business consulting experience. He was cofounder of two companies, and played a key role in their successful initial public offerings on NASDAQ in 1989 and 1992. In the early 1980s, Krick was an Associate in the Leisure Time Industries consulting group of Laventhal & Horwath, CPAs’ Las Vegas office. He also taught several courses at UNLV. Later, he was Senior VP of the Dunes Hotel and Country Club, in Las Vegas, and Senior VP for Development with Casino Magic Corp. in Mississippi.

Len's goal is provide the highest level of professionalism and confidentiality, while minimizing the time and stress typically experienced in negotiating the transfer of ownership of privately-held businesses. Mr. Krick is an active member, moderator and speaker for the International Business Brokers Association (IBBA), the Las Vegas Business Forum, and the Las Vegas CFO Group.

Ed Pendarvis
Founder of Sunbelt Network, Multiple Office Owner (South Carolina)

Mr. Ed Pendarvis, CBI, is Founder and Chairman Emeritus of the Sunbelt Network. He is a 1965 graduate of The Citadel, in Charleston, S.C. He served two years active duty in the United States Army Artillery. Mr. Pendarvis had a successful career in real estate sales and development before joining Sunbelt. Associated with Sunbelt since 1978, he has participated in or managed the sale of over 1,000 businesses. He has been a guest instructor in business brokerage for the Texas, Florida and California Association of Business Brokers, as well as the International Business Brokers Association (IBBA). Mr. Pendarvis is also a Real Estate Broker, a former member of the South Carolina Better Business Bureau Board of Directors and the IBBA Board of Directors, where he served as membership chairman. Mr. Pendarvis was made a "fellow" in the IBBA, and he was awarded the prestigious Tom West Award in 2006 for his contribution to the IBBA and business brokerage industry. Based on his experiences, Mr. Pendarvis authored a "how-to book" entitled "Buying a Business to Secure Your Financial Future" which was published by McGraw-Hill in 2005. Thousands of copies have been sold to folks interested in owning or selling their own business. Mr. Pendarvis also serves on The Citadel School of Business Administration Advisory Board and, in 2007, was inducted into The Citadel Business School Hall of Fame. in 1998, he received the state of South Carolina's highest civilian honor, The Order of the Palmetto, from Governor James B. Edwards (R) for work with the American Legion Palmetto Boys State Program. In 1983, Governor Richard W. Riley (D) honored Mr. Pendarvis for his work with the Board of Juvenile Correction Institution. Ed is married to the former Elaine Bowen of Charleston, SC. Together, they have five beautiful daughters and six wonderful grandchildren.
